Membership in the League of Women Voters is open to people ages 16 and older. Your membership gives the League the political influence needed to build a voice for citizens and a force for change.

The League of Women Voters of the United State encourages informed and active  participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.  

For over 100 years,  we have been a nonpartisan, activist, grassroots organization that believes voters should play a critical role in democracy.  We do not  support or oppose candidates or political parties. 

You will add your voice to a national organization with over 500,000 members and supporters. 

About Membership

•      Your membership in the League is for one year (12 months), renewable annually
  
•      With your local membership, you are automatically a member of the LWV of the US and the LWV of Texas.

Types of Membership

•       Individual (Primary) member - $60/yr
•       Household  (One Primary member and an Additional member who resides at the same address) - $90/yr
•      Student (One Student who is currently attending school) - $10/yr                                                                                                                                                                                                      You can pay by credit card or by check.
  

Donations

     If you wish to make a donation in addition to your membership fees, please use the Donations button on the top right of the page after you complete your membership signup.  This will result in 2 separate charges on your credit card or can be combined if you write a check.
